Jamie Archer BOst (Distinction), Classical Osteopathy (Dip), Applied Clinical Anatomy (PGCert), UKSCA Accredited Strength & Conditioning Coach, is an internationally recognised Registered Osteopath, osteopathic lecturer and educator with over 20 years of experience in osteopathic manual medicine (OMM) and postgraduate osteopathic education.

The Early Obsession With Osteopathic Technique

After graduating with distinction in Osteopathy from the British School of Osteopathy in 2005, Jamie quickly developed a passion for osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT), osteopathic manipulative medicine (OMM) and hands-on osteopathic technique. Although he already possessed a broad range of osteopathic skills, he became increasingly fascinated by what separated average practitioners from truly exceptional clinicians. He wanted to understand how the early pioneers of osteopathy achieved such precise, specific and consistent clinical results through osteopathic manipulation and manual medicine.

The Struggle To Go Beyond Average

This passion led Jamie to spend years studying classical osteopathy, osteopathic philosophy, structural osteopathy and manipulative technique. He collected rare osteopathic texts and historical literature from around the world and developed an extensive library of osteopathic resources focused on osteopathic manipulation, applied anatomy and manual medicine. He studied, learnt and worked aslongside renowned osteopathic practitioners and physicians to better understand the principles behind successful osteopathic treatment and manipulative skill.

The Turning Point

However, he realised that learning more osteopathic techniques alone was not enough. Jamie recognised that mastering osteopathic manipulation required a deeper understanding of applied clinical anatomy, biomechanics, osteopathic principles and precise technical application. This led him to complete a Postgraduate Certificate in Applied Clinical Anatomy, strengthening the connection between anatomy and effective osteopathic treatment.

From Student To International Osteopathic Educator

Over the past two decades Jamie has become widely recognised for his expertise in osteopathic manipulative treatment, osteopathic manual medicine, structural osteopathy and classical osteopathy. He has taught thousands of student and registered osteopaths across the globe through postgraduate osteopathic courses, osteopathic CPD training and hands-on workshops focused on manipulation, articulation and clinical reasoning.

Jamie has delivered osteopathic education and manual medicine training internationally in Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Serbia, Greece, Russia, Sweden, Canada and the United States, including teaching at the founding school of osteopathy in Kirksville, Missouri, USA. His practical and clinically focused teaching style has made him a highly respected international osteopathic lecturer and mentor.

Teaching The Next Generation Of Osteopaths

In addition to his international teaching, Jamie served as Clinical and Professional Osteopathic Lead at The College of Osteopaths, overseeing he clinical traing and nad osteopathic curricume. Throughout his teaching career Jamie has remained committed to clinical practice and continues to see patients regularly at his osteopathy clinic in Derbyshire, United Kingdom.

Discovering What Truly Creates Clinical Mastery

Jamie believes that excellent osteopathic care requires far more than simply learning techniques. He believes osteopaths must learn how to integrate osteopathic principles, anatomy, palpation, clinical reasoning and manipulative skill into confident clinical practice in order to achieve consistent patient outcomes.

Creating The League of Extraordinary Osteopaths

This philosophy became the foundation for The Osteopathic Academy of Applied Technique and The League of Extraordinary Osteopaths. Through online osteopathic education, postgraduate osteopathic mentoring and advanced osteopathic CPD, Jamie now helps motivated osteopaths from across the globe refine their osteopathic manipulation, improve their hands-on technique and develop greater confidence in clinical practice.

Raising The Standard Of Osteopathy Worldwide

Today Jamie Archer is recognised internationally for his work in osteopathic manual medicine, osteopathic manipulative treatment, applied anatomy and postgraduate osteopathic education.
